I'm sitting here grinning ear to ear! Thanks for posting this
I had a c/s with my first after 36 hours of labor, 2 hours pushing and then he went into distress...
I had a natural VBAC 3 months ago...And all I could say afterwards was how I felt like a superwoman! I wanted to take on the world! I was so amazed what what MY body did!! I even told a nurse 2 hours later that I couldn't wait to do it again (she looked at me like I had four heads, lol)
Your post...did make me want to do that all over again!
Thank you

That's amazing, Terra. You know what's interesting? Women have no idea how *great* natural birthing can be until they do it. And afterward, they feel like you and I did. Though I don't plan on more children, the day I gave birth, I too was like, "Okay--NEXT!"
There's nothing like that rush of endorphins...or settling in with that tiny little baby.

Great comprehensive post! There are so many myths surrounding natural childbirth and you helped clear up many of them.
I am very much looking forward to my impending home (unassisted) birth.

I'm impressed Sheryl. Like I said, unassisted home birthers are inspirational. Best of luck to you and your family...soon, right?
