SPEAKING of itunes, do you have ANY idea why it won't sign me up? didn't think so. just thought i'd say me and itunes aren't on speaking terms at the moment. GROWL.

I met the man who wrote the song yesterday. His name is Jeff Addison, and he is an inmate at Bibb County Correctional Facility in Alabama. I was there doing prison ministry, and I had no idea of his connection to Southern Gospel until he told me. He actually wrote the song while sitting in the chaplain's office at another prison. He sold it, including the rights, to Gerald Crabb.
Gerald Crabb is credited as the author of the song. Not to say that Warren's post isn't true, but just that Gerald Crabb (the dad of the family) is generally credited with writing it.
