Hmm... In Plano I saw a sign that said
"No littering - Keep Plano beautiful
$10,000 fine"
All around the sign there were large amounts of trash lying on the ground, as there is all over Texas. It occoured to me that the sign was actually a worthless piece of trash itself, because it obvoisly wasn't doing it's job right, but that's beside the point. The point is that today we seem to want to fix the symptom instead of the problem. The trash lying on the ground isn't the problem, it's only a symptom of a bigger problem.
I have nothing against electricity though.

To make this point (a very good one by the way) you kind have had to overlook the fact of Rome's burning; Unless it was started by some Italian mama micro-waving a spoon left in the chili dip. There are several other instances of pre-electric firefighters though, unfortunately I don't have the references by me at the moment...
But no, it really is a good point...if you can overlook the twisted logic that brought you to it.
Energy drinks are very good for breakfast.

It sounds like Ashley is familiar with the problems presented by microwaving metal spoons. The plastic ones aren't much better for microwaving either.
Speaking of beefing up fire departments, I think I have eaten more pork today than I ever have in my life.
