Yup!

maybe you should spend more time reading the WCF on the 4th commandment and less time racing...

Well, Anonymous, I have to admit, you're right.
After talking with my Dad about it, he agrees. The Lord's Day IS for worship, not sports.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Sir. May I ask where you hail from?

She wishes to remain anonymous. I am glad that her comment was of some use.

Well, if we aren't willing to reform when others make suggestions, are we really Christians? I'm glad her comment was glorifying of Christ as well.
Our family has been learning a tremendous amount over the last year about the Christian walk, and the more we learn, the more we realize how ignorant we really are.
Thank you!

Maybe "SHE" should spend more time reading the Bible. And know she should not council men, and remain scilent in the church. Unless of course she is not in the church.
Where is her daddy anyway?!
God Bless.

FYI: This forum isn't the church. Your daughters seem to realize that, as they have no problem preaching about the righteous duty of packing heat.

Quite honestly, I know where every comment has come from for the last four or five anonymous comments. All websites have I.P. tracking abilities, I simply utilize mine.
This blog isn't to fight with fellow believers, and I don't believe I have any contention with the 'anonymous's' out there. There will be differences of opinion on doctrine, yes. I understand that. I understand we had our differences as we came from a more charismatic background into a reformed setting, and we were slow to understand new ideas such as the doctrine of election, but we all now fully embrace that.
I would hope that you would feel free to worship with us, as freely as I have recommended your fellowship to others. Our doctrines are virtually identical; our applications virtually identical.
And I'll have you know that our Pastor doesn't speak in a condemning way of you to new members, or to folks considering your fellowship. The idea that my covenant children may one day marry your covenant children doesn't disturb me. If we are regenerate Christians, we can walk together in harmony.
Are we at least agreed that we SHOULD be in harmony with one another?
If so, please, let us put these contentions aside. I'd be very happy to talk with you on the phone if you'd like, and explain where I stand more fully. 800-258-0511 . That'll reach me, and I'd love to chat with you.
Anonymity does no good really; if what we stand on is a Christian truth, we should not be afraid to attach our name to it. It only makes it more difficult to communicate. In all the epistles, the author made himself boldly known, and to whom his messages were intended.
I would hope for the same courtesy from all who are followers of Christ.
I look forward to talking with you, and perhaps in the future, fellowshipping with you again.
