Just some thoughts...

Christians taking control of the language -- this is really another manifestation of "taking everything captive." (rough paraphrase) We can't settle for mediocrity in any area whatsoever. We can't be involved in taking on Hollywood for the glory of God, and yet be, like, so "worldly" (that word sounds so pompous, but it's the best I could do) in our use of language. Or of anything else.

Great post John, will read the other article you linked to. Regarding the word homophobic, I agree that it is a term that anti-Christians have propagated, as it does put them on the upper foot. They're pressuring people to embrace homosexuality simply by making the alternative to be afraid of it. Well, when I'm asked, I say "I'm not homophobic - I think homosexuality is wrong... but I'm not scared of it".

Gets them every time.
