This intelligence is new. The intelligence Bush used to make his State of the Union speech was based off different and old intelligence that was proven false.
But now you are saying, 'hey it doesn't matter, he was right in the end'.
Which is essientially, admitting he lied but it's ok, because the end justifies the means.
And no, because I dare question a Republican doesn't make me a moonbat. But that's ok I expect to be called looney or lefty from the appoligists.
No, honey, the intelligence about Niger was proven false long ago. Wilson's "no yellowcake" version, I mean. It's always been true that Iraq tried to aquire yellowcake from Niger. It's always been true that Saddam and Al Qaeda had ties. The international community, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, et al believed there were WMDs. Always.
This is only "new" to those who are willfully ignorant.
To prove a "lie" you have to prove that there was willful misleading based on contradictory evidence. None exists. Even if Bush was "wrong"? It still doesn't mean he "lied". We've been over this, Wing.

I have this wish - that I know will go unfulfilled, due to Conservatives' general level of decorum - to see Bush, Cheney, you name it, give the media and everyone else a big, fat, soul-satisfying "I TOLD YOU SO"...
I know it won't happen... But just once it would be nice to see Dubya circle back and say "You remember when you told everyone I lied? Suck it!"
