Typical of taxeater mindset. Throw a fit if you don't get the world with a bow around it. Many of the protestors want a 24 hour taxpayer paid servant, to avoid the "indignity" of more cost effective services. We should not provide 24/7 live in help just to avoid having a nursing home, if this is the most cost effective treatment.
Here's my question: I live with a disability every day. I am sure the day will come when I am old and grey that I will need some home care, but I don't right now.
It sounds like these people don't either. If they have the energy to get up to Capitol Hill for a block-the-boys-in protest (what they are going to accomplish by this I have no clue) what do they need home-bound care for?
Had this been a pro self defense or anti-income tax group protesting you can bet the PD would have busted some heads to clear them out under orders of Naifeh & company.
People who get a free ride will always be ungrateful and want whine for more.
