I was being facetious, in both of my first two paragraphs.
That said, I really choose not to drive a vehicle such as Hummer H1/H2/H3, Abrams M1, or whatever for good reasons. I do think we should become less dependent on middle eastern oil, because enriching these people increases the threat to our way of life. And I do think burning less fuel will help clean up our cities, such as Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis. They all need cleaner air.
Geezzzz guys, layoff.
