republicans always talk about the free market as the golden cornerstone of our Nation. However, they contradict themselves on this issue. In the case of immigration the market has clearly spoken, or there would not be around 13 million working and providing services like lawn maintenence. So propose and pass what immigration bills you like, in the long run they will fail, because the market is the ultimate, high, holy judge on this nation's policies, and the market has spoken.

Eww! I can't believe you actually did that. Did you have an official egg peeler? That's the law, you know.
What a great movie!
Dragline: Why you got to go and say fifty eggs for? Why not 35 or 39?
Luke: I thought it was a nice round number.

Whose economy and free market are you talking about? Ours, or the country where illegals come from? Illegals cost us (legal citizens) more then they bring in. It is not just lawn care either. I know several companies and contractors that have gone under because they can not legally compete with the illegal market. When you pay federal taxes, licences and insurance your cost to bid a job is going to be higher then someone who will work for 8 bucks an hour under the table without insurance or licences.
If you truly believe what you say about the free market, then I am sure you have no problem doing away with the minimum wage as well as all the other gov regulations, taxes, fees, inspections, mandatory insurance, unemployment insurance and those other gov regulations then Right? I mean the market will heal itself right?
