Rep. Philosphically, this is a issue of concern yet with the actual number of dollars involved, relative to the outrage, doen't it seems a bit overblown?
I mean to say we see millions leaking out of buckets everyday throughout the state so is $33K over 99 underpaid state reps a bit of a tempest in a teapot?
One healthcare fraud case alone would cost that much.

You're so right about this one. You'd think people could read, especially now that we have the Internet, teleconferencing, and all the rest.

While it may not be the solution to huge budget concerns it is the pattern of abuse of your tax dollars that is a symptom of the problem. If someone worries about the pennies I know they will be tight with the big dollars.

Somehow I just knew that Rep. Towns could make his self-serving junket "for the children". He needs to throw in some special effects - it's getting too easy to see the CGI in his story.
All that talk about education, ignorance and "going to the moon" - but I guess charters and homeschools are just too radical? Or is it that the wrong people are profiting?
