I agree. There shouldn't have been any whining in the first place. When people say that Steinbrenner is simply going to extra mile for his fans, they're essentially right. I think the idea of huge salaries and exorbitant sums of money spent on players like Matsu are simply disgusting to the average fan. It is, unfortunately, just the way the game is these days. In that light, I hope they sign this Japanese stud.
