I like me some Jimmy Carter. Barack will have his chance at the White House as Jimmy did. Hopefully, he will not be prevented from being effective as happened with Jimmy.

I think Barrack's "bitter" remarks are very similar in tone to Jimmy Carter's malaise.
But the political reality is people don't want to hear that.
At least Jimmy got four years in the White House.
