Not a bad blog although your Name is so similar to mine. On the topic of Master Somms I think it's just a matter of time before there are plenty of them. Thing is wine is growing at an alarming rate and more and more people are likely to want to become Somms which makes the title of Master Somm a little trivial to say the least. The tests will become more and more difficult making those that recieved the title years earlier less respected.
