wow, it seems like forever since you've written anything (non-hair related). very much enjoyed the posts at bentsense. that's the kind of stuff i have been coming here to read.

is this blog going to be phased out? or will there be a distinct categorization of the content each blog will hold?

can you make the blog titles expand vertically? the whole "web 2.0" niftiness should enhance the user experience. right now i feel like i'm in some archaic library with my head tilted 90 degrees.

As for your questions:

No, TheWriteJerry blog is not being phased out.

Yes, the two blogs will have distinct content - TheWriteJerry will be more personal and also contain the fun stuff like quizzes and memes, while BentSense will be much more issue focused.

Alas, I can't make the titles expand vertically, mainly because the programming of BentSense is waaaay beyond me. I picked the template up and am trying to not modify any of the mechanical parts, especially because I know the template works in all browsers as is. And I kind of like the library-like feel. After all, the Internet is fast becoming the world's electronic library and a homage to the old print version just feels appropriate.
