Thank you for sharing your story, especially about your dad's conversion. I worry and pray daily for my dh who does not believe...you have given me hope that someday he may believe.

Yay for you! Sounds like you and I have lots in common too. If you have a minute, read my conversion story too! Sadly, it's incredibly long and full of tedious hand-wringing, and in five long parts.
Welcome home, dear Sister in Christ!

Amber, THANK you for posting this blog. Having read your entry, it gives me some consolation as to what I have been going through as well. I, too, have converted to Catholicism from being a Protestant, non-denominational, Baptist, etc. I was searching for the absolute truth. I entered R.C.I.A. and was mesmerized by it. I longed for knowledge and I know I have to be patient for the Holy Spirit to guide me on this daily walk of life.
Once again, thank you, Amber. I will pray for you and your family for strength and guidance.
Peace be with you always,
Steven M. Webb

Thanks for sharing your story. I am also a convert. My father is a Calvinist minister. I have not told my parents about my conversion for fear of my safety (literally). I pray I will know the right time to do so. It's always nice to hear when others come home.
