That is so sweet about your sister!!
This is a huge thing for your parents to come to grips with - be patient. It's not up to you to change their hearts, the Holy Spirit is much better at that! :) It sounds like you were calm and had peace even in the midst of the conflict and that is an awesome thing!
Live your life as you have - seeking God. Your faith will become evident to them as you walk this journey out.
I will continue to pray for you and your family.

I think you handled it very well, with love and compassion, not giving way to anger. Let your kindness be your explanation, its hard to argue with that. Time heals all things, and so with this. Thank God that your sister is so understanding, even when we have difficulties God sees fit give us little rays of hope.

Blessings upon you for your dignified fortitude! And blessings upon your sister for her loving compassion.
I was evangelized by lapsed-Catholics who, after I was baptized in a non-denominational church and then (after years) was called to Roman Catholicism, went nuts, screaming, "It's cult!" etc. So much for Christian love abiding.
And my Jewish mother? "I can see the peace in your life. I'm happy you've found that," she said. She attended the Easter Vigil Mass where I received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

My advice: Be cautious if you read this book from your mother by an ex-Catholic! Satan tries to tear anyone away from the Church if he can. He certainly attacks people as the date of their entrance to the Church approaches. Be careful in what you read for the devil does work through the printed word.
