It is so wonderful to read your enthusiasm. You are so right, we must stay true even if we can't see the progress. We must scatter the seeds, whether they bear fruit depends on the soil. Often it takes years to see any change. Sometimes it never comes -but we can only offer.

Hang in there, Amber. You nailed it when you said that others don't want to believe they've been wrong about "their tradition" so they get defensive and say the craziest things.
Until they come to the place and ask themselves,"Why do I believe what I believe," all we can do is offer our witness and our prayers. Our families STILL think we're nuts! :)

Thanks, Tim. You're so right... I'm glad I'm not alone in the whole family thing. All we can do is pray for them... at minimum that they'll stop thinking we're nuts long enough to hear us out and give it some thought!
