This Catholic Journey

Ah, this I remember well.
I'm sorry I haven't visited often, my friend, I have missed much of your journey, but will catch up in reverse.

:)

Such an interesting point to be at in your life, much like I was - not anywhere near where I thought I would end up in my faith journey. Can you imagine going back and telling the you you were a year or two ago that this is where you would find your faith heart?
God has such wonderful surprises for us, doesn't He?

I am glad you had such a wonderful Easter!

Gravatar Hi!

I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS!! I share the joy with you. I became a Catholic on Palm Sunday. Thanks for your blog-journey. It is so good to walk together with others on the path of faith.

Gravatar Amber, this is just beautiful. You have captured the moment well in this lovely post. (I am still unable to get my thoughts and emotions outside of me!! ;)) I prayed hard for you over the weekend. I too can't believe I'm Catholic. By the way, you and I have the same patron Saint!

Martha

Gravatar Amber, congratulations. Welcome home. I prayed for you at our Easter Vigil, for you and for Angie. I'm very happy for you. May God continue His work in all of us.

Gravatar Thanks be to God!

Gravatar Alleluia!
I am very happy for you! I am so glad to hear the news. Welcome!

Gravatar Congratulations! I went through this over 10 years ago, and I'll always remember how it felt to have three sacraments during one Mass (I was baptized as well). I'm so happy for you.

Gravatar Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

Congratulations!

Gravatar Congratulations!

I will continue to pray for you.

Remember, your pilgrimage of faith continues in earnest with you as a Catholic.

Remain steadfast, even if the emotional high should fade over time.

There is so much to know and to do as a Catholic. The lives of the saints, the Eucharist and sacraments, the great spiritual classics, it all belongs to you now.

God bless you!

Father Joe

Gravatar Fr. Joe,

Thank you for your continued prayers. I expect the high will eventually wear off. I am continuing to read about the faith and am looking forward to getting involved in some way. I don't want to be a Sunday-only Christian!

God bless!

Gravatar Congratulations and welcome to the family. Here's a sword, you're needed on the battlefield.... :)

Gravatar How grand! Your post does conjure up my memories, I am happy for you.

Take heart that you can always remember the happiness and peace you feel now, when times are worse.

Gravatar Congratulations, Amber. Your story has really touched me. Made me thankful that God saw fit to put me in a Catholic family from the very beginning -- and has granted me the grace to remain Catholic to this day.

Gravatar Thank you, Jeff! I'm glad my story touched you. I wish more life-long Catholics realized the gift they've been given!

God Bless and Happy Easter!

Gravatar Congratulations Amber and welcome to the family :)

Gravatar I'm so excited for you and can relate with all of your emotions on your experience of entering into full communion with the Church. I reverted to the Church in 2002 and I still get an exhilerated feeling of JOY when I read about those who are considering The most Holy Catholic Church -- especially if they are evangelical Christians and those who abandoned the teaching of The Church.

**Welcome Home!!!**
**May God Bless You!**

The best spiritual experiences are yet to come, Amber - Your spirituality gets better, richer, fuller with less self & increased Christ-likeness sometimes in a short period of time. They will be magnificently holy experiences -- full of mercy & love...your cup will overflow..

Gravatar Thank you, Cindi! I am very much looking forward to all that you described! :)
