You know what I've noticed lately? That (generally) all the believers from other denominations will all side with the other, before siding with the Catholic Church.
We had gone to Mass on Saturday night, and Sunday morning the TV was on and it was showing a Lutheran service. Deanna asked me (she didn't know it was Lutheran)"Is this a Catholic Church? I don't see a crucifix." Everything else was seemingly the same. It's very sad, Christians hating other Christians when their Lord has called them to love and unity!
Praise to the Trinity and His grace be with you today!
Great post and a nice pic of your baby! Makes you start feeling old, don't it? :)

When it comes to the Catholic Church one also finds meaning to suffering. When my mother was dying of cancer all of my Protestant friends told me that my mother lacked faith. Or that she was being 'punished' by God.
The Protestants don't believe in Redemptive suffering and so miss out on the deeper meaning of how we can turn suffering into Gift.
Thanks Amber for this thought provoking piece:)
Peace & blessings to you:)

I started writing on a similar topic last month, after conversing on an online forum. Anti-Catholics often say that Catholics "add to salvation" and "add to Jesus" -- and, in the process, write Jesus out of the equation (as you record here).
My response is that Catholics don't add to Jesus, we get more out of him.
