We do need to work to bring unity. And we must stay focused on the truth. God bends all to his will. The reformation will fit into it. From a God's eye view, it all make sense. We just can't see it. I know I sure can't. :)
BTW, O Holly Night is my favorite Christmas Carol. I do like the Josh Groban version you have playing too.:)
Amber, I know what you're saying. I feel that way also, but I don't want my zeal to replace or over shadow my love for people.
Much like Paul's love for his unbelieving Jewish brothers. They had partical truth, and he, by his example could win some for Christ (being all things to all people to win some). I am convinced that if we, as Catholics, continue to show our love for one another and for the poor and weak of the world, we will continue to bring others into the "fullness" of truth.

Tim - I completely agree. In the midst of trying to keep relativism from taking over, we cannot forget what is so very important... love.
hi. i have been reading your posts now for a few days and am agreeing more and more with you. i myself am seriously considering converting to catholicism because i seem to have so many of the same beliefs and what not of it. most of my family was raised baptists, but as a grown woman i believe i would be happier as catholic. i do have a question tho? i have been trying to determine what the first church was and i can't find it anywhere. i notice here you said the catholic church was the first? where can this be found? also, i have learned that if you were christian back then, then you were a catholic... is that true as well? i myself am trying to get back to the original and basics and become closer to the lord. as much for myself as for my 6 yr old son..
How I long for all people to unify in the Catholic Church so that there may be One flock, with One Shepherd. How I long for that day...
