This Catholic Journey

Hi Amber,
I am not sure if you remember me but I sent you an email a while back about my web site Holy Reflections. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that I was wonderfully surprised to read that your children are going to be baptized on my birthday! I will be keeping your entire family in my prayers. God bless you!

Gravatar Amber,
What wonderful news!
P.S. If you set up a paypal account, I would LOVE to donate to the BBQ fund.
:)
(It's free to set up a paypal account - what a bonus!)

Gravatar Ma Beck,

Awww... that is SO sweet of you! I've decided to take the stress-free route and just take close family to lunch after the baptism. It's too much to handle in one weekend and it was really causing me to freak out.

I realized that the sacrament is no less important and no less celebrated if I can't swing a BBQ!

But, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Gravatar Amber,
Well, if you change your mind or need anything, you just let us know.
After all, we'll be welcoming the newest Catholics into the fold, too!
And I agree with you - it will be nice and stress-free to just go to lunch and have someone else cook AND clean up.
I hope the kiddies have a marvelous day!
What an amazing experience, to watch them ALL become children of God on the same day.

Gravatar What a juxtaposition of emotions. Best and worst of times simultaneously. We'll keep you in our prayers for both reasons.

Gravatar How wonderful!!And you have it right, the sacrament is more important than the party (but I can donate something as well if you change your mind).
