Amber, I'm a firm believer in this: the Mass is for people who have a personal relationship with Christ. If you don't, it's not going to make a lot of sense to you. You might be edified in different ways, but you're not really going to "get it," which is one of the reasons that it depresses me so much when Catholics begin a relationship with Christ and assume that they have to leave the Church in order to grow. Huh?

What is the gospel that the Catholic Church proclaims? I don't recall ever reading in the Bible that we go through Mary to Jesus and this is exactly what Catholicism teaches.
