I agree. Crushed oreos are just better. I've been eating them that way since I started eating oreos again.
Nice (for me, anyway, but I'm sure you are probably feeling kind of a letdown) to see you are back home safe and sound. Your trip sounded fantastic and eye-opening.
In my first year of university my friend and I got stoned and ate Oreos dipped in smooth peanut butter. They tasted awesome, though I've not been tempted since to repeat that epicurean concoction.
