Is the Democratic Party is serious about reclaiming its status as America's majority party? That's the big question. Another mcauliffe-like DINO-republican, and they won't get a cent, second, or vote from me. I'm through wasting my efforts on a party that caves in as fast as the (d)'s did. I changed my voter-reg from Libertarian to (d), just so I could support Dean in the primaries. I'm back to Libertarian again, and will stay there till the (d)'s start their twelve-steps at losers-anonymous.

I think Dean would be a great choice as it would practically give the Republicans the White House again!

Maddie,
I disagree. Think of him what you might as a candidate (personally, I think he would have done better than Kerry did), there's just no doubt whatsoever that he's good at mobilizing voters and activists for winning campaigns. The performance of his PAC proved that. In a year when the Democrats lost the White House and seats in the Senate and House, the candidates that he backed won.
If Dean takes over the DNC chairmanship, the Democrats will gain seats in Congress in both 2006 and 2008, and probably the White House in 2008.
