Hi I've been meaning to say how much I like your blog, but now I have 2 other reasonns to comment.

1 I disagree with you about the Gannon story. I don't think anyone is trying to take the perogative of choosing who to let in from the white house. (Until you anyway) I just like to know what peoples agenda is.

One reason I like your blog is that I think of myself as a left libertarian, and there aren't that many of us.

2 I just came to the conclusion that Howard Kurtz must be getting paid by Scaife or the white house. I want to spread that idea around in the hope that someone in a position to will look into his finances.

The other reason I like your blog is that I enjoy Gonzo journalism. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your comments and compliments -- I wish I could hit the Gonzo mark, but I just don't have the alcohol and drug budget required to do so consistently.

On the Gannon thing, there have indeed been rumblings of congressional investigations and possibly the setting up of an "independent" (read -- operated by the mainstream media for their own exclusive benefit) credentialing operation. I wish I could point you to some links, but I haven't kept them -- like I said, the whole thing strikes me as a bit silly.

Kurtz on the hype dole? I dunno, but it's worth looking into.
