Libertarians are smart, but we're too naive and trusting. We gotta get over that.
Amen to that. Incredible as it may seem, libertarians need to be more cynical about the government, and especially about career politicians.

I take exception. I ran as a Republican for a position, just because running as a third party was prohibitively expensive. I am a libertarian, 100% so.
I've never claimed to adhere to the RNC platform.
