drugs make people crazy. You don't even have to take them; just injecting the subject into the discussion is enough to drive otherwise rational people into intellectual knots.
Truer words were never spoken TTN. We are the most drug-crazed nation on the planet, and, like you, I don't mean 'crazed' necessarily from having taken them. Legal or illegal, we are consistently completely hysterical and obsessed with drugs. I am so tired of it.

I'm going to get into this more at some point in the future, but drug prohibition is without a doubt the most poorly justified governmental position in existence. It is irrational along every axis of measurement, save moral -- and only if you accept without question God's disapproval of drug use. The longer these debates drag on, the more clear that becomes.

This case is more about Marbury v Madison than anything. The Supreme Court reviewed a congressional act, and gave its approval. Talk about judicial activism.
