No, I know you couldn't see. I'm just offering my opinion based on Bear vs. Wild. He went to a rainforest, climbed high up a tree, chose his course, and explained why he was heading in that particular direction. He wanted to get to a stream or a river.
When you are atop hills like that, and you see the height of the foliage drop so suddenly - it usually indicates a stream (of course, Bear was in a WILDERNESS..so it could be a road, too, but roads don't normally run so seamlessly at the bottom.
