There was this guy on the F or A train (can't remember which) that used to play guitar and sing for money. Now I never get annoyed at that, but he had a little amplifier attatched to his backpack and parked himself in front of my seat. ALL THE TIME. And the worst part was that he always sung the same Tracy Chapman song. Not Fast Car, the other one. I think irritating subway musicians are neither A or B but somewhere in between.
What say you?

I know exactly who you are talking about--he's still around. I think that this specific guy is a B, because he thinks that he is a good entertainer and that his music is actually pleasuring those around him, instead of irritating them. (Although I have to say that I actually kind of enjoy his performance. Is it "Talkin' Bout a Revolution that he sings?

Have you noticed that sometimes he has a random partner on the electric guitar to add little rock flourishes to his Tracy Chapman renditions? I have to say, I too kind of like his raspy voice.

Yes, he's good. It's the standing in front of me with the amp in my face that I didn't like. Also, come on, expand your repetoire, no?
