Happy Times Together? Isn't that a line from a Beach Boy's song? Maybe Mike Wilson is moonlighting as a textbook writer? They certainly captured the flavor of American living. The haste this last Thursday was certainly delectable and the exercise afterwards was sweeter than any pumpkin pie. Happy Thanksgiving, guys. I'll make you cheese sandwiches.
That's so funny--on Thanksgiving Erik and I ate cheese sandwiches and read Tom Sawyer out load. It was a nice change from the usual fried rice.
Mackey--I do love to think of you and Laura Taebo-ing off your tryptophan stupor. You're such good Americans.
And, Amy, I totally agree. I mean I love the ease and convenience of fried rice, but you do get tired and need a change now and then again. What's Thanksgiving for if not a chance to celebrate the wide American palate with some holiday cheese sandwiches?
I recently opened up my very own California Beef Noodle franchise. Business was slow for a while until we decided to add cheese sandwiches to the menu and let Brooke and Brittany have their own ways.
I created a huge back account of good memories this thanksgiving. I also arranged some good memories for select family members. The tofurkey was a succulent ball and it beat out the Unturkey and the protein nut loaf for tastiest vegetarian main course. Cate, wish you had been here to hear the dinner bell (after only 30 minutes!).
Wow, Elnie, that is some entrepreneurial thinking! I mean, since your customers only care about filling their stomachs, and not the chef's skills, some eye candy is definitely a brilliant idea. I wish you good luck on your mission of bring authentic American flavor to the people.
And, boy, Hilly, what are you trying to do to me talking about succulent balls? I can't believe you had three forms of vegetarian delights at one meal--and all prepared in thirty minutes. Bravo! If I had been there I would have been ringing the dinner bell myself.
