many people do feel the same as you, however i see no need for the world to come to that type of a circumstance..i feel, that even though robots/machines may have many possible contributions and advantages to our future society, they should not, if even ever created, at all cross over the line of importance to where they become "supreme" (for lack of a better word) and dominate the earth which God created for us, humans, His creation...it is said, according to robot ethics, which i have heard about in class, that they are to not do anything which may cause harm to humans, or stand by while something that they could have prevented harms the human, and they must obey commands, etc. ...therefore, why would they "take over" earth if that means that humans would be slowly but surely killed off, therefore breaking the whole "no harm to humans" thing...i feel that if they are created, which i see no super need for their creation, they would/should be aids to humans in critical need of such help due to the fact that they are immobilized or something of that sort, not a cool gadget that those who feel like having around to take off some of their duties or work load buy....its not necessary and we can thrive on earth without them....
