Gale- Have you tried the Knitpicks Harmony DP's? Surprisingly, they not only look good, but also perform well.

Thanks for the needle review. I've often eyed up the Signature needles and it's great to get a real world view of them.
I agree with Lorraine on the Options Harmony needles. They are currently my favourite sock needles.

Gale, I think you should send them back. The one pair sounds defective... they should refund you for certain. Please let me know how your customer service experience is with them.

I haven't even seen the signature needles up close and personal. I really like my bamboos best, and the crystal palace seem to last longest. I do the Uri Geller bend with the small sizes as well.

First thing; Those socks are very pretty ! Secondly, thank you for all of the information regarding the Signature Needles. Most of my dpn's are bamboo, I have some wood and very few stainless steel ones. I'd considered purchasing a pair of the Signature, just to try them. I am always appreciative of needles with pointy tips because I cable without a cable needle and there is a bit more work with the bamboo needles (though I love them). The fact that the needles NEVER seem to warm up would really bother me though. See, I knew those things were just too pretty.
