Gravatar John Edwards faces a very tough uphill battle if he chooses to run. He is deeply unpopular in his home state, does not currently hold political office, and has little political experience other than a single term in the U.S. Senate.

In fact, senators have a terrible track record of being elected president. The Democrats would to hedge their bets by looking elsewhere for candidates, because so far all I'm hearing about (Clinton, Obama, Edwards, etc.) seem to be senators.

Gravatar The only advantage he has is that he was already VP candidate. That helps.

Gravatar That and the fact he has nice hair.

Gravatar He is definitely better looking that Guiliani. Guiliani is kind of ugly and he may be unelectable because of that

Gravatar Damn, you may have a point. Barry's first rule of presidential politics is that the better looking candidate always wins. Edwards would seem a shoo-in. Course he'll have to get the nomination first.
