No! You can say it! Or maybe I just can't, I'd really like to but I'm already doing too much and my husband would kill me (blame him). If I could only follow my own advice I would not feel overwhelmed and underappreciated. And would have more control over my life.

I did, however, say no loud and clear to being a PTO board VP (but did agree to be a secretary).

I have a CGG so it crosses religious bondaries. I did marvel at the mom who when I asked if she could help with pumpkin carving in the 1st grade class last year said no because of he pedicure appointment. I guess if I could say no, I'd actually have time to have my nails done. But would I really want to....


Nope, can't blame it on JGG. I do stuff like that all the time and I'm not Jewish. Or even Catholic. Some of us are just suckers and overachievers. I have, however, noticed that as my kids get older I am learning to say NO more often.
