Just prooves to you that there really are some good people in the world after all!
A couple of years ago my partner was assulted on the street at 6am in the morning, after he and a few mates were on their way home from a big night. During the incedent he lost his keys, containing his only key to his car at the time. Lucky for us someone found them and handed them into the nearest police station, who then went on to ring our insurance company (their tag was on his keys), who then rang us. That to me prooved that there are some honest people around...
"Shit. She's a really nice lady, but one of THOSE moms. Perfect mom, totally selfless, sweet and pious. I can guarantee you she never gets all drugged up for a party, has a few drinks on top of that and then loses her checkbook. Granted, that's a high bar most people could get over, but humor me, OK?"
I've been reading you for awhile, but this passage here? That's when I knew that you were my kinda people.
