Oh poor pumpkin! Please update when you can. I hate to think of him cuddled up in there all day, too. His little heart is broken and no one can fix it. That's got to be one of the toughest parts of parenthood.
If only we knew these things before being elected into position. ::sigh::
It would break my heart too! Are there any other boys or girls that might be good replacements for Weeyum? My one piece of unsolicited advice would be to setup some playdates with likely candidates so N can see its OK to have more than one friend. And maybe encourage the teacher to have N and Weeyum play with others sometimes even when both are there.
I would not be happy with a teacher that did not tell me about this after the first or certainly the second cubby sitting day.
