I have a lot of those same thoughts. I am constantly starting a project, only to get bored with it and start another. For once, I'd just like to finish something. I think sometimes the finish line isn't as clear as I'd like it to be.

TC, I know what you mean! A couple years ago, I was mired in the middle of a long book-writing project. I knew what I needed to do, and had a hard time getting myself to do it. A friend and I set up monthly meetings, with our own self-imposed goals, and discussed them with each other. We decided that we didn't want to beat up on each other; rather, that we'd let our own pride in our work motivate us. It's embarrassing to report, month after month, that you haven't done a thing on a goal you set your own *#&$ self. We found the meeting was enough to get us moving. We didn't always make our goals, and sometimes we did them a few days before the meeting, but we busted through the inertia and finished things.
