That's wonderful news!! It sounds like N connects better with kids one on one instead of in groups. What a great day for you and your family 
That is gratifying!! People who get to take "normal" for granted probably don't understand the joy that can come from seeing someone do something so very ordinary. I hope it's a good omen for the upcoming surgeries and everything--may N. come through it well! (and the rest of you, too.)
