I'm tickled that you tried! But I think you probably can't really see it through my eyes without spending time wandering the city with me -- visiting my friends and haunts and such. Now, maybe that too won't do anything for you, but it's the only way to really see what I see.

I kind of feel that way about LA - when I sit in a traffic jam at any hour of the day on any roadway there is. When it is too hot to walk in the middle of the day. When it is so very smoggy and car driven.
Yes, my East Coast is hot and sticky in the summer but that makes going down the shore a real treat.
Its all in your perspective and home is where your family and friends are (although I would take either coast over many, many places in the middle)
