Gravatar All the time, if he didnt, it'd bug me.

Gravatar I don't know whether Doug wears it every day or not, but doesn't matter to me either way. He never wore it when he was flying (they aren't allowed to). I don't wear mine every day either, and I actually never wear my original one anymore (I wear my grandmother's).

Gravatar David wears both his wedding ring and the ring we got for our... 5th, I think year together all the time.

I don't wear either. The 5th year ring is silver and seems to precipitate eczema and my wedding ring is too big and I've been positive that if I resize it down, I'll gain so much weight I won't be able to wear it again. I avoid rings anyhow since no matter how big they are at sea level, my hands swell while hiking in the mountains and I have to take them off.

I don't think it would bother me if he didn't wear his rings.

Gravatar I wear my wedding ring all the time, but my engagement ring only when I'm getting very dressed up or visiting my in-laws. My husband wears his ring all the time except for jujitsu.
I don't think I'd freak out if he didn't want to wear it, but I'm glad he does.

Gravatar A diamond fell out of my wedding ring recently, so I switched to another ring I had lying around and sometimes I take my ring off to do things and forget to put it back on and I'm just...not so much into the whole ring thing, I guess. Hm. My husband wears his ring all the time, and I've never really thought about it, but I don't think I would care all that much if he didn't want to. It's just jewelry to me, no larger significance.

Gravatar P wears his all the time - in fact as we approach 10 years, it's really quite worn. I usually wear my whole set during the week and just the band on the weekend. But when it's beastly hot like it is now, my fingers swell too and I can't get them off.

Gravatar I haven't worn my ring since my first pregnancy - 15 years ago. He stopped wearing his around that time, too. It doesn't bother either of us that we don't wear them. I'm not even sure that I know where the rings are.

It's the marriage that counts - not the jewelry that comes with it. We've been married for 19 years. And we still like each other - a lot.

Gravatar All the time. I recently had to take all my rings off because (1) I had a period of having edema, as you describe, retaining the Red Sea, and (2) I've been practicing for a piano recital, and I find that they bug me if I play a lot. I hope I can get 'em back on.

But hubby wears his all the time. Ours are this special white gold/yellow gold . . . they are yellow gold bands on the bottom, white gold on the top, with a "line" around the equator that divides them and they "swap" halfway around. We had never seen any like them, and have not since. His is VERY worn, I noticed a few months ago, and you can hardly see the details in it (a vertical pattern in the white gold--again, tough to describe). After 20 years, you can bet it gets worn, but still, it was a little daunting. Also daunting to realize we've been married that long!

Gravatar Yes, we wear ours all the time, but I never had problems with water retention or anything. In the beginning it was so loose I thought it would slide off my finger, but I have large knuckles, so it doesn't. It would bug me if he didn't wear his.
