I've been reading through your archives since you visited my site, and you ARE a great mother.
And by the way, I have a huge phone phobia too.

The assessment was done by the college, right? If I were you, I'd request an additional assessment through your Regional Center and/or your local school district, because my gut tells me you son has sensory issues that CAN be addressed via occupational therapy. And the socialization skills ALSO can be addressed via play therapy. I would NOT give up and go with that one assessment, not if they tell you it's "up to you," because you are a great mom, granted, but you do not have the skills or training required to do it yourself. Your call, of course...

We all beat on, boats against the current. Doing the best you can is pretty much the definition of a good mother, anyway.
