I agree wholeheartedly. I love to read your blog--you express your ideas so beautifully.
Just wondering, why did your doctor decide to go with the old(er) Celexa and not the new(er) Lexapro. My doctor tells me that they are basically the same drug, but Lexapro has been improved in the area of its side effects, especially the marital relations part.
I've been following your journey, along with Plain Jane's and I admire your ability to put it into words. I suffer from depression, also (I hate that "suffer from depression", it just sounds wrong). I have also taken everything out there. Currently on 40 mg (max dose) of Lexapro and three (count 'em, 3) 1 mg Klonopin per day. Can we all say depressed and obsessive? Never tried neurontin though, so I can't relate to that one.
My thoughts are with you, and I sincerely thank you for putting into words the crushing feeling of depression. I can't seem to describe it, so, when I am having a bad day, I just tell my husband I don't feel well, and take to my bed (like Scarlett).
Please don't feel ashamed to discuss this issue in your blog; some of us need it to not feel quite so alone!
