I have a question. How do you trade AA miles for cash through Upromise??

I have over 120K AA miles and would gladly trade them for cash. I don't have a Upromise account but I can get one.

Shoot. Now I can't find it. That's what I get for not checking before I make a claim in a blog post. It used to be that you could exchange 10,000 American miles for $50. Maybe it was a special offer.

Anybody know about this?

You can get a Upromise account easily. The only thing is, if you don't want the $$ to go into a 529 that's hooked up with Upromise, you have to send a notarized letter to get your money from Upromise if it's more than $200 you're cashing out. But the check comes pretty quickly. I got mine in well under a month.
