Gravatar yea! I love GladRags I've been eying the Keeper, but haven't had a need to try it yet. Honestly, I'm hoping that I'm pregnant *double yea* and then I won't need it for a couple of years

Gravatar I had no idea, these products existed. I am amazed. I buy Kotex products generally with coupons and spend less than $2 a box and use less than a box a month.

I would love to save the earth. I just don't know if I could ever do this. I did use cloth diapers with all my babies though. I love them and didn't mind the extra work. But for myself.....i just don't know.

Gravatar Love, love, love the keeper. Bought mine about 6 months ago and haven't used anything disposable since.

Gravatar Yay! I read the title and thought, "Cloth pads! She's going to mention them, right?" I have a small stash of pads from Many Moons which I've used for 4 years and loved, because they're so much more comfortable than disposable pads.
For the time being, I'm saving money on feminine hygeine items by being pregnant, but that's got significant other costs.

Gravatar Here's like the end-all threads for making your own cloth pads

Gravatar Andi, I knew I could count on you for the crafting connection. But your link didn't work for me. I went to http://www.craftster.org/forum/ and did a search for "cloth pads" with smashing results.

When I get curtains made for the 5 rooms in our house that desperately need them, I'll move on to sewing some cloth pads. By the time I get to it I'll probably be post-menopausal. But at least now I know how to find the patterns!

Gravatar oh you're right, it shortened the URL and added a %20 - strange.

I'm glad you found some threads, that one is called DIY Cloth Pads Tutorial.

Good luck with your projects!
