Gravatar Boy do I feel guilty.

I can unsub if you want and just not come back...

I don't read your blog to judge you. I read it because your writing is entertaining and your perspective is interesting, and your information is useful and relevant.

Plus the bits about L are often really funny and cute.

But geez, I feel bad if my visiting has soured your ability to actually write.

Gravatar Please don't stop blogging! Yours is one I read practically every day. I love your humor and practical take on things. Don't stop!

Gravatar My wife and my brother read my blog. That constrains me a little bit. I'd probably prefer if my brother didn't read it as I could write more about family money issues than I do.

Gravatar I'm having similar thoughts.

Part of me feels like Forrest Gump running in the desert when he suddenly stops and says, "I think I'm done."

Gravatar Hi Tired But Happy,

The blog is your creation and meant to be your outlet. If it no longer serves its purpose, mothball it without guilt. If you decide to start over with a new name, that is fine as well (I will be happy to link to your new blog not letting on that you are the old TBH - I am sure just about every other pfblogger friend of yours would be happy to do the same - if that is something you would want us to do).

But if you do decide to keep TBH, but money is just not that interesting right now, write about whatever the heck you want to write about. I would be happy to read why you like pulpy orange juice rather than smooth - because you can probably write about it in a way I will find entertaining and interesting.

If blogging makes you happy - do it. If it doesn't - don't.

Take Care,

Boston Gal

Gravatar Darlin', if you want me to pretend I don't read it, I will. You should have said so. I just think it's brilliant, and I've sent it to other people w/out saying that I know you or anything.

But if it isn't making YOU happy anymore, well, there's your answer.

Gravatar Love you, love your blog.

Now I won't worry if you're not blogging. Just do your thang.

Make sure if you're not blogging that you write down those incredible thoughts that spill out of L's mouth. I wish I had done that with my now 11-year-old son.

I'm sure you get plenty of blog recommendations but here's another: http://www.byebyepie.typepad.com/

Gravatar If you do start over, will you let me know where you've gone? I'll keep mum, like Boston Gal.

Gravatar I have loved knowing about your blog. But don't tell me about the new one...or if there is a new one..otherwise I might waste a butt-load of time trying to find it.
You are awesome-Possom.

Gravatar I don't know you but I love your blog. It's my favorite PF blog but if you don't want to write about PF anymore, that's fine by me. Just keep on writing. You have a very engaging style and I love the "voice" that comes through. I read every word you write.

Gravatar I agree with everything everyone has said. I really would miss reading your blog. I respect your right to do whatever you want to do.

Gravatar I'm thirding BostonGal. I would really miss reading your blog, and would love to continue reading without giving up your identity.

Gravatar Hi TBH!

I feel you. It seems like after 2 years of blogging on PF topics, I'm done. But take a break and write about what really matters to you. If your blog evolves, so be it. It's yours and not anyone else's.

As they say at Get Rich Slowly, Do what works for you. If that means moving away from PF stuff, that's cool. I'll still read whatever you have to say about L, M, P or Q. (just kidding.)

Good luck with whatever you decide and I wish you much good health.

Gravatar I've been kind of facing the whole friends-reading-my-blog thing as well. It's a lot harder to post things like "let me tell you what stupid thing my friend did blah blah blah". Random people bring up strong opinions that I only shared on the blog. Not being anonymous does take some fun away from it.

I think the money-waning thing is perfectly normal. Some days I think there's no way writing about money daily can be mentally healthy. If it stops being fun, then you should stop doing it. Although it's a habit now for me, I've started taking at least one day "off" a week.

Oh, and thanks for the kind mention. =)

Gravatar Wow, I've been feeling *exactly* the same way lately! Like everyone else said, I'd miss your blog but hope you'd share the new URL with me if you started another, more anonymous, blog.

Lately I've been getting these critical e-mails from a so-called friend after I've blogged something cranky, which makes me second guess everything I write (she e-mails me under the guise of "helping me," except she really just wants to be judgemental). I feel exposed because it turns out she reads my blog pretty obsessively (her employer name shows up on my reader stats), yet she remains coy and certainly never talks openly about *her* finances.

It's just weird and kind of creepy, actually, and in retrospect I wish I'd been better at keeping my big mouth shut! Hmmm, perhaps I should consider starting an entirely new blog, too.

Gravatar We need some kind of PF bloggers anonymous group, or rather, PF bloggers who wish they were still anonymous.
