Gravatar I think it's funny and real. And if it's pathetic then I'm definitely more pathetic than you. I spend plenty of time worrying that random symptoms are actually serious illnesses (a couple weeks ago I coughed up a little blood because apparently I burst a tiny blood vessel by coughing too much... but I was petrified it was lung cancer or tuberculosis or something-- surely my light-headedness was a result of massive internal bleeding and had nothing to do with the fact that it was 1pm and I hadn't eaten anything!) Anyway, I don't want to know how paranoid I'd be if I actually had a more than random chance of developing something. But it is definitely the kind of thing that is miserable at the time but then you just have to laugh at yourself looking back!

Also, I agree 100% with every bit of what Boston Gal said, so just put me down as "ditto."

Gravatar The tragedy of today is the comedy of tomorrow. So the only thing that takes something scary and makes it funny, is time and space. So if you've reached that point already, then you're FAR from pathetic.

I quite enjoy reading your non-finance posts. I like reading your finance posts too, but the non-finance ones make it more personal, and make me more able to apply the principles to my own life.

Do whatever you like with your posts--it's YOUR blog, after all. Happy Sunday--I hope it's migraine free.

Gravatar And yes, here I am reading your non-personal finance related post...

Gravatar Nope, not pathetic at all. So I guess what you're saying that normal is a relief! As a fellow migraine sufferer, I feel your pain (no pun intended) but in this case, it's a good thing.
