I think you are right and the Republicans know that they have screwed up on a lot of issues and I hope they are beginning to realize that if they want to keep their seats and their majority they better step-up to the plate on an issue that matters to their constituents otherwise they might as well start polishing up that resume because even Republicans won’t vote for them.
No good reason, but how about a bad one? Both Cook and Jacobs have demonstrated their lack of in-depth knowledge on other important issues: earmarks, education, health care, immigration, social security, spending, and taxes.
It's a "No" vote for Cannon, but a stronger "No" for the other two.
