The truth is - I was too old according to my mom to buy me colouring books.
I remember when the Soviet union broke up - I was watching it on the TV with my great aunt.
She was a very intelligent, bitter, well off Irish lady and she told me about 2 hours of funny stories about Breshnev and Krushev being total fuckfaces - I remember being 6 or 7 and laughing pretty hard. I had also watched the Berlin wall fall months earlier with her on CNN - we had popcorn and twizzlers.
I also remember the big fight everyone had after the USSR broke up - was Canada now the biggest? Alas - no.
