I should not know, I could not say, I would not tell you anyway.

I dont know if that's gonna go thru. Most people will just say that it isn't needed. But, then again there's a lot of raging jerks (or Republicans) in the US.

Actually, as the article says, most everyone (either for or against) thinks that its going to be close. Looks like it's gonna come down to a couple votes, or so I'm told.

well holy shit.

I just talked to one of my roommates and she didn't really seem all that bothered by the whole thing, especially the way Cunningham tried to justify it. I sorta had to explain how the two things aren't directly related and she just sorta stared blankly back at me...

jeeze

I'm glad people felt the same way as I did when I first heard about that. You wouldn't believe how hypocritical Americans really are, though. I'm a Canadian and I've been living in the US this past year in NY state, and living daily with some of the crap that happens here makes me sick. A lot of the smaller papers will use 9/11 in ways similar to what's been happening in the US Congress. After a week of listening to it all, I ended up publishing a few open letters to America. I don't have the guts to actually mail it into a newspaper though, in fear of being shot. :P It's on my blog if interested. I miss Canada.

Hey James! Thanks for the comment! It took me awhile to notice it... Yeah, I hate to speak about "Americans" in the whole general sense, because I don't feel I have enough experience to pass much judgement on it myself. I certainly can't justify any opinion that forms based on American media, BUT it sounds like you on the otherhand have firsthand experience, so I guess you've got real reason to believe whatever you do :D

I'd like to spend some time down there sometime -- you know -- just to get a feel for it. Anyway, later dude! I'll check out your blog for sure.
