Ben Folds is such an unrated Artist. He was originally called Ben Folds 5 correct?

I personally liked his one hit wonder "Brick"

Whoa whoa whoa! How can you even use the term one-hit wonder for this guy?!? The term itself implies that he only had one good song and anyone who's heard even a few of his other songs will tell you that's simply not true, man! Sorry, I just can't believe you used "Ben Folds" and "one-hit wonder" in the same expression of a thought...

And Ben Folds Five was the name of his band, while Ben Folds was the name of his following solo effort

Yeah, I heard he was a one man band at first. As for "one hit wonder" I meant his mainstream stuff. That is the song that is associated with him.

But I agree, Ben Folds Five was/is awesome.

Well fancy....you are a.... hmm a "NINNY". Yeah that prety much conveys my thoughts. Anyways, anyone who took the time to listen to that ben folds stuff and liked it, should check out his live cd from the 02 tour. Its just him, a mic, and a piano. Really cool. lol good call Coleman! GANG UP ON FANCY! Actually, I found out after I wrote this that Ben Folds Five did the cover of Built to Spill's Twin Falls, so if the name sounds familiar, that's why. Actually, they Ben Folds was quoted as saying something like, "We'd be perfectly content all we ever were was a Built to Spill cover-band."
Personally, I like BTS's version more. It's more... haunting -- I guess you could say.

No way MacGregor! I was actually thinking beforehand that you'd probably be the only one who's style these might be! Even though I just found out about him/them, I'm giving serious thought into buying the real-deal CD's from Amazon. Ya know... support the artist and all. I'd feel a little cheap burning an indie band CD. But since you asked, maybe I'll burn it anyway... just until I get that credit card.

i didn't read many of the comments that were posted before this one because i was just too excited about saying: i saw ben folds... in boston. and he puts on a real effin' show. mmm hmm.
